2024 Conservation Plan
We work with community members and partners to update our Land Conservation Plan, ensuring that our approach to conservation is reflective of the pressures we face today and into the future.
Skookum Creek Wildlife Corridor
The 2,200 acre Skookum Creek Wildlife Corridor is the largest contiguous wildlife corridor on private land in Whatcom County.
California Creek Estuary
At the south end of Drayton Harbor, the California Creek Estuary is a refuge for salmon, forage fish, and migrating shorebirds.
Stewart Mountain Community Forest
Stewart Mountain Community Forest is a collaborative effort led by Whatcom Land Trust, the Nooksack Indian Tribe, Whatcom County and Evergreen Land Trust.
Governors Point
The coastal forests that reach down to touch the Salish Sea at Governors Point are a unique treasure.

Work Party: Vinca & Blackberry Removal at Bell Creek
It is now May and we are at the last work party of the season! As a final hurrah, we will be working at the Land Trust’s Bell Creek property; improving riparian habitat by removing both Vinca and Blackberry. Bell Creek empties into the North Fork of the Nooksack and is a vital habitat for many native species.
WildLens of Whatcom Land Trust Workshop
Join Whatcom Land Trust for an immersive photography workshop hosted by local photographers Greg Green and Rich Bowers. Over the course of two days, you will have the opportunity to dive into the captivating world of photography while exploring the unique landscape of a Land Trust conserved property.
