Business partnerships

Becoming a business partner is an investment in our shared vision for conservation in Whatcom County. By donating money, services, or even just time, business partners can make a huge difference in Whatcom Land Trust’s mission- protecting what makes our County an amazing place to live, work and play. Regardless of size or budget the Land Trust values the contributions our business partners make.

Business Partners for Stewardship

Looking for a way to bring your business or group together while also getting outside, exploring new places, and helping protect our beautiful Whatcom County? Whatcom Land Trust invites you to join us on one of our many properties to help with stewardship tasks such as invasive removal and native species planting. Work parties provide excellent team building opportunities for any group or business by encouraging hard work with the common goal of improving the Whatcom County we know and love. “Supporting Whatcom Land Trust comes naturally to me. I grew up privileged to explore shorelines and parks. As a former board member, as an air-breather, salmon-eater, tree-hugger and Realtor, I feel it’s our responsibility to preserve critical habitats and special places before they are gone.”

– Julie Carpenter, ReMAX

“Our Superfeet mission is to make a positive difference in people’s lives by shaping a strong foundation. The work Whatcom Land Trust does to preserve land and increase access, as an essential part of creating a strong foundation for our local community and a healthy environment.”

“At Chuckanut Builders we're focused on helping build a resilient, sustainable community. For us, the definition of community is broad and involves agricultural lands, healthy ecosystems and our built environment. Which is why we're so grateful for the WLT, who are hard at work protecting the lands we love and are so lucky to call home.”

– Chuckanut Builders

“Barron Quinn Blackwood supports the mission of the Whatcom Land Trust because we believe that everyone should benefit from Whatcom County’s abundant tapestry of lakes, rivers, farms and forests and to honor the legacy of our beloved colleague, J. Bruce Smith, who was a faithful and dedicated supporter of WLT.”
