Tracking is an excellent way to document the presence and activities of wildlife. Here's your chance to learn how to do it! Huxley professor (and WLT Board member) John McLaughlin will show you how to discover animal presence by investigating the prints they leave behind – a great way to find out about the animals of our community. Can you find the wild ginger? Can you spot the Pacific Yew trees? Do you understand the threat of invasive English Holly?Begin this year's Native Plant Appreciation Week by discovering the rich plant life at the Stimpson Reserve. Local expert Mark Turner will guide the 3-mile hike through this 400-acre reserve and teach the group about its complex web of plant life.
