Come join us for a slide presentation and talk on great blue herons followed by a visit to the heronry preserved by WLT. Wildlife biologist, Ann Eissinger, will provide information on these beautiful birds, and guide you around their nesting site. For more information and to register, call Whatcom Land Trust at 650-9470. Free to WLT members. Suggested $5 to $10 donation for non-members is requested.

Our Heritage

We are entrusted with an extraordinary natural heritage. Saltwater shorelines, forests, lakes, farms, mountains, and wildlife habitat are all part of a legacy that only we can preserve for future generations. The desire to share this heritage with our children and grandchildren unites all who treasure Whatcom County.
